Dr. J. Michael Frische is an optometrist who proudly serves his hometown of Seymour, Indiana. After earning undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology from Indiana University, he continued at the same institution to receive his Doctorate of Optometry in 1987.
Dr. Frische is committed to providing exceptional eye care, holds board certifications in treating and managing ocular disease, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
His dedication is evident through his active involvement in several optometric associations, including the American Optometric Association, the Indiana Optometric Association, and the Orthokeratology Academy of America.
Beyond his practice, Dr. Frische is passionate about volunteering, demonstrated by his role as a board member of the Indiana Chapter of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) and his participation in over 30 VOSH trips, providing vital eye care services to underprivileged communities across Africa, Belize, Cuba, and Honduras.
Dr. Frische's commitment to lifelong learning ensures he continually expands his knowledge and clinical skills to deliver his patients the highest standard of care.
Outside the clinic, he spends time with his wife, Shelly, and their three children, enjoying sports, travel, and camping.
