Optomap

A high-definition digital image of the retinal area helps your eye doctor diagnose and manage eye diseases in the delicate retinal area. Damage to these delicate structures of the retinal area is often the first sign of systemic diseases such as MS, diabetes and more. The retina is the “window to the body” and routine retinal imaging can help your eye doctor monitor the changes in your eye health from year to year.

Porcelain Veneers

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT

Our OCT helps us better manage glaucoma and diseases of the retina because this technology allows the eye doctor to see the deep tissue layers in the eye. These high-definition images are the only way that they can actually see beneath the surface to the nerve fiber layers where damage occurs.

Up until now, eye doctors had to use other tests to indicate damage in this critical area of sight. Common eye diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma are detected early by the OCT when the diseases can be more effectively treated.

Corneal Topography

A high-definition map of the surface of your cornea helps your eye doctor diagnose and manage eye diseases and specialized contact lens fits. The cornea is the first structure light passes through on its way to the retina. Changes or abnormal shapes to this area can affect your vision. Special, custom contact lens fittings also need this data to be successful.

Corneal Topograph

Visually Evoked Potential (VEP)

The VEP allows the doctor to more accurately diagnose and manage optic and nerve diseases. This advanced technology actually measures the neurological responses of the entire visual pathway, giving a more accurate diagnosis and vision and nerve disorders such as amblyopia and glaucoma.

Tearlab

An objective and quantitative point-of-care diagnostic test that provides precise and predictive information.
The TearLab Osmolarity System* is intended to measure the osmolarity of human tears to aid in the diagnosis of dry eye disease in patients suspected of having dry eye disease, in conjunction with other methods of clinical evaluation.

Meibography

The Meibox Meibographer is the first HD slit lamp mounted meibographer designed for doctors by doctors. Providing high-resolution images of meibomian glands, the Meibox has helped take the mystery out of dry eyes. The Meibox Meibographer is a useful and convenient diagnostic test to not only help the clinician identify the source of the ocular surface disease and thereby target treatment but to also help show the patient exactly what we see. This helps increase patient awareness and compliance during treatment.
